BIOGRAPHY
With hard swinging melodies, chunky guitar lines, a wild stage act,
a blistering work ethic, and pure ambition: FFN has created quite a
stir in the Pacific Northwest. Hitting the local music scene in February
2005, they have kept good company, sharing the stage with bands such
as Something Corporate (Geffen Records) and Mest (Maverick Records),
Stutterfly (Maverick Records) and City Sleeps (Maverick Records).
The guys are currently gearing up to record their first full length
album this summer. "Our first CD was a big experiment," says
lead singer Jordan Thompson. "We are really excited about our next
release because we have found our identity now. The music is better
and we have really improved as musicians." Look for the new record
to hit the shelves this fall! They released their 5 song EP in June
2005, recorded at Lee Stoker Studios, and it was received with fervor.
FFN was started by Thompson who left his old project, Altercate, after
several years. Recruiting some of the old band members, a new drummer,
and placing his brother at guitar, FFN has taken a different path--
tapping into the harder and more angst-filled side of Thompson's song
writing.
"Don't
worry," Thompson assures fans, "you won't be disappointed
with the new material." In fact, he is laying down a guarantee
that folks will like it much, much more.
